ABOUT ADAM LONGDEN
Adam Longden was born in Derby, England. He moved way out in the sticks to the edge of Nottinghamshire at the age of four.
The East Midlands countryside that he grew up in clearly had a profound effect on Adam. It provided the setting for his debut novel, The Caterpillar Girl, and, in part, it’s subsequent sequel, Seaside Skeletons.
From as long as Adam can remember he has been obsessed with music, reading books, writing and, slightly later, film; all of which influence and pervade his fictional work and characters.
Despite being a full-time chef, Adam has also penned four yet-to-be-released novellas, which he describes as ‘quirky’ and ‘a little dark’. As with The Caterpillar Girl, they are all exclusively set in the East Midlands, where Adam has always lived.
Adam has three teenage children, is a massive Liverpool FC fan, likes walking in woods, keeping fit, hot curries, cocktails and cats.
